Hi everyone Happy Solstice!

A few announcements and upcoming events!

1) Check out our newly revamped website
www.synapsiswarehouse.org

We are still doing a little work on it but it gives a much clearer picture
of what Synapsis is all about...Huge thanks to Heather Ault for all her
help with it!
Also, we are colelcting photos to put on the website. If you have any,
please contact me. thanks-

2) Neighborhood Meeting tomorrow! June 22 5-8 pm at Synapsis...
snacks and beverages. come a bit early for seed planting!

We plan to talk about how we want to be more involved in the neighborhood.
We will also talk about the 3rd Street Parade. There will be time for
sharing your ideas as well as hearing multiple perspectives about
neighborhood/coommunity development.

3) "Shapes of Nothing" music and performance Monday June 25, 8:30 pm
at the Arcata Playhouse in the Creamery Building, Arcata.
(and Leslie's 30th birthday!)

Archeopteryx and Yukon from New York, Ishan Vernallis and Rhett Bice video
work, SubRosa dance, Lover's Howl, Starving Wierdos, and perhaps some
other performance, too!
an evening of little surprises.

$5 with animal ears/$6 without (suggested)
(money goes to pay for the space and for the touring bands...anything left
would go to synapsis)

4) Weekend of July 13th/14th: Synapsis and Tsirkus Picaresque troupe
present an evening of burlesque performance...
followed by dancing, chocolate, and cavorting
More details soon!

5) The Instant Art show was a huge success-thanks to all the artists who
came and to DJ Raj and Zanopod for music. And thanks to Carmen for
organizational magnificence.
We are planning to make this a regular event...if you would like to
participate, let me know.

6) Coffee Opp grand opening...teen-run coffee house will have its opening
party at the ink people on monday june 25th. fire dancers, live music by
pipes of the doctor of witchcraft, masks, etc...4-10 pm
