How do you do your hair for a cheerleading competition?
I have never been in a competition before so i really need help figuring out a hairstyle!!!! Please help before Friday!
Ask your coach. But most people have theirs curled. Like the night before put you’re hair in a pony tail while it’s wet and put curlers in and a bandanna over the curlers so you don’t mess them up. Then the morning of the competition take your curlers out and if some are messed up use a curling iron to fix it. And once you’re done just top it off with some hairspray!
usually everyone on the cheerleading squad will have the same hairstyle. it looks better that way. so talk to everyone and figure out what youre all going to do.
usually everyone has all of their hair back in a high ponytail, and really curly. A few times my squad wore our hair half up, half down, & straight.

Your captain or coach should have told you a specific one. On my squad usually all the girls will have their hair curly and in ponytails. Just have your hair pulled away from your face and bring a curling iron with you… just to be safe!

What type of competition is it? Allstar, pop warner, … In all star the curly pony tails are usuallly only worn by the younger girls. Most of the older teams wear their hair half up and half down straight. If it is pop warner or school competition then there are probably rules as to how you need to wear it.

I own an All-Star Cheerleading gym and my daughter is a Varsity cheerleader in High School
as long as everyone has the same hairstyle.. its good. here are a few hairstyles.
-french braided into two braids..
-high ponytail with lots of curls.. and a cute ribbon..
-half up, half down. and straight.
the main thing is make sure it is all out of your face. that gets points taken off.
