Transformers Optimus Prime Costume “Transforming Into Prime”

I have had quite a few people ask me just exactly how I get into a 10ft Transformers Optimus Prime costume. I figured I should upload this video and let everyone see. Due to the size of the Optimus Prime costume, I sometimes feel like a scarecrow trapped in an Autobot. The Optimus Prime costume is not incredibly comfortable to wear, but the reaction on the faces of people in the crowd is well worth it.

Watching this, I …
Watching this, I had to chuckle at a few things. The first is that we only need you and I put the costume together. One person has no problem lifting the torso to you. The second is, put the head on before putting the arms on. Makes things so much simpler in the long run.
