When do you start looking for a Halloween Costume?

I know most people start looking in early October, but sometimes it can be hard to find a good costume because there are so many people. Is looking for a costume in November too early?

november is after october so halloween will be over by then!!!!!

(but usually i sart looking for a costume in late september or early october)

    I’m actually thinking about it now, haha. But maybe because Hallowe’en is my birthday. And, FYI, November is after Hallowe’en. So maybe you should rethink that, lorl.

  5. i look in late September, i love costumes. But i am not traditional. I do like a Rocker chic and find everything on my own and stuff like that, but i start searching late August!!!

  7. Um, actually it’s too late, because November comes AFTER october…..

    I think you meant September lol. But, I usually look on like the first day of October because non of the costumes are sold out and it’s still early. September isn’t too early as long as it’s toward the end of the month, because that’s when all the costumes finally arrive.

    The point is, you will have a larger selection and a better chance of getting the costume you want if you look in late September or around October 1st. Hope this helped :)

  12. im really fussy so i havta start looking early so i can find one i like lol. last year me and my friend were the same thing and we started planning it like a month before halloween and we came to school early on hallooween and did our make up the same and everything lol then trick or treated till like 11pm even though were like 14 and all the other people trick or treating were like 5 year olds =]

    um well defiantly don’t get one in November because you will be too late for Halloween. It all depends though on when Halloween stores start to open up just look for advertisements usually they open up late September and go all the way through October if you want one really early go to a custom store.

  17. It depends. I think a lot of the costumes do go on sale after Halloween, so if you want to do some stocking up and get a costume, then good for you. The only bad thing about that, is that you might not be the same size 11 months later. Goo luck!!! :D

  19. Well it all really depends. Iv ordered my costume very much in advance. But then again im a haunt actor/designer and i need my stuff to be hollywood quality. If you want to go all out with face prosthetics/make up/FX teeth/ spirit gum etc etc then i suggest thinking and probably ordering your things NOW. But if you wish to be like the "norm" and get a costume at like party city and be happy with it, then more power to ya and you could probably get away with waiting untill a couple weeks before halloween.

    I think about it NOW! The reason being, http://www.loverslane.com has their Christmas in July Sale coming this weekend July 19th and 20th. And everything is half off! I get my halloween costume now for half the cost of what everyone else will pay for it!
