Where can I find anime costumes at a low price?

Posted by admin on January 29th, 2010 and filed under costumes | 7 Comments »

I have been trying to look for anime costumes that are at least under $100, but every costume I like that I look at costs more than $130! I was wondering where I can find a costume at a low price. Either in a store or on the internet will be fine. I hope this question helps me!

Hope this helps
Good luck!

I found a sailor moon costume on ebay for a good "buy now" price. Type in cosplay, anime costumes, or anime collectibles. Happy hunting!

I agree with Night_rn above me. I’m actually acquainted with someone who makes Anime costumes and sells them solely through ebay. even if you don’t find anything right away, some should pop up within the next two weeks or so.

Good places to find anime costumes are pretty easy depending on who, what, and how many parts to you’re costume there is.

I made mine for this years Anime Con. It cost me about $60 with all the trimmings. and pattern plus fabric, but, Thats only a good alternative if you can sew, or like to sew or know someone who will sew for you.’

Another alternative is thrift stores. You can get pieces of clothing that you can alter (removing or adding pieces) to the shirt, dress, pants ect to.
Value village also can be a good time anytime during the year but is especially good at Halloween time.

The last bet I can think of is E-bay. They can make costumes to you’re size but they can range in price and in decency. I bought my Valor Sora costume two years ago from it for about $125 and I bought a Chii wig for the year before that for about $50 (I’ve been going to cons for 5 years)

I usually just make things home based because it’s easier and usually cheaper but, if you don’t want that or find its a hastle, buy stuff online or at thrift stores.

Hope that helped. If you have any other questions, please ask. =D
