Do undocumented visitors from Latin America see having children in the USA as an 18 year investment?

If the child is born in the USA, he/she will be able to work and send money back to Latin America in 18 years (maybe even sooner). This is a long-term, but decent investment for a family that is lucky if it makes $150/week.
Oh, and these parents will be living like kings, too, when the investment matures.
Lisita, thanks for chiming in on the other side. However, you must admit that 8 kids sending home 800 a month starts to add up!

Since the child is a US citizen the parents also get welfare. Not a bad gig, being paid to raise your kids in the USA after you enter illegally and are considered unable to work (no inglese) but still work for cash.

No I think illegals are the most selfish parents on the planet. They use the children for their own selfish gains. Many of these parents get deported and leave the child in the US to be raised by others just so they can one day get help reentering the US. Pathetic.

It’s a cheap trick on the American public. Stop this anchor baby crap now before it’s too late. One should only be an American if born of American parents! That goes for legal resident aliens as well.

More like a goldmine. Because our liberal elites choose to unconstitutionally grant them birthright citizenship, the "citizen" child becomes eligible for a host of taxpayer benefits like food stamps, free breakfast and lunch at school, etc etc. The more children they have, the greater the reward. Now for the good part. Because of chain migration, the citizen child can sponsor the illegal parents for lawful status. No negatives here, only rewards. Who says crime doesn’t pay.

I really don’t know where you two get your information from. Illegal Immigirates can NOT RECIEVE WELFARE. My family are immigrates and Legal of course, but even when they weren’t they were never on welfare, and non of their American Born children never got a job before they were 18. And when they do. They are require to pay bills and rent if they live at home with moms and pops.

If their parents live in their native country, they be lucky to see about $100 a month if they only have one child here in the States. Even if they have more up here they don’t always send money down every week, since living up here cost so much more then down there. Some of the older children who are in their 20’s or 30’s have families of their own and may send a $100 about every other month or if that.

I can tell from your answers that you believe what people who do not know what they are talking about tell you.

I am American who was born here and who’s Ancestors go back to Native Americans. I have experinces this with my husband who Is a Native Mexican sending money to his mother and two little sisters. He had other siblings here as well, but as far as I know he was the only one sending money and that wasn’t very often. Yes, he is a Resident Alien, and waiting on his Citizenship.
