    So I see the cultural differences and what they call themselves. Here is latino, chicano, hispanic, spanish… but in Spain you can rule out latino and chicano. Those terms are on this side of the world, because they are different races includedin them.

    That’s why on ACT stuff they say Hispanic/Latino…. Different cultures.

    LATINO is NOT Spanish! Latino IS people from Latian America being north & south america. SPANISH is from Spain, HISPANIC is any race that is of Spanish decent. People never think of Spain when we say Spanish everyone thinks of Mexicans. So no, people from Spain are NOT Latinos. I lived in Spain, no one ever concidered themselves Latinos, they were Spanish. LATINS are people like you said, Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, Brazil, ect. LATIN & Latino are different.

    not just of spanish descent but also of french, portugese, italian and romanian descent. latinos have their roots in countries where they speak a language that descend from latin. but many people are ignorant so when you say latino all they think of are latin america, spain and possibly portugal
