Once you can do the basic, basic right turn and cross-body lead without thinking about it, you will feel more confident and realize that the rest of the moves are mostly, only different ways to “dress-up’ those basic moves.

like saying if dance cali style in LA u will be humiliated. not the case at all. a really great dancer can change to completely different style depending on the song. that requires a thorough knowledge of the music from every decade from about the 1950s to present. dancing cali style to early fania records recording would look silly. just as dancing cuban style to a tito puente mambo . a great dancer can dance all the styles well to a given song. please comment next as if u know something.
