What’s the difference?

What is the difference between glass and acrylic aquariums?
The major difference is in flexibility. Glass tanks are very rigid and can be produced in one shape, straight flat pieces. While acrylic material is more flexible and can be bent and curved to create some refreshing new designs in aquariums. Acrylic is less refractive than glass. This means fish do not appear distorted when looking at fish from an angle. With the advantages of acrylic, they are surprisingly less expensive then you might think. If you are in the market for a new tank I’d suggest checking out Seaclear aquariums. Get a fish tank.
