Rumblepeg Dance Theater provides opportunities for diverse expression and collaboration in dance and the performing arts through education, experimentation, and the development of new work. Based in a rural area, Rumblepeg aims to foster the relationship between the performing arts and community development.

MongrelRumblepeg 2007 intensive

In March 2007, Mongrel: The History of Awkwardness and the Survival of Grace was conceived and created collaboratively by a group of 15 international dancers and performers who participated in Rumblepeg's first annual Winter Dance and Performance Intensive.

This work was influenced by the teachings of Elanne Kresser (formerly Jez Parus), Erika Chong-Shuch, Jandy Bergmann, Jess Curtis, Karl Frost and Shinichi Iova-Koga.
