I have to make a speech for my school assembly next week along with my friend who is the student body president. I’m 17 years old and i’m planning to wear an knee length cream colored pencil skirt with an pink button up shirt. I was thinking of wearing an stiletto pump or a stiletto sandal heel but i don’t know which shoes is best for this type of outfit ? Do you think pumps or a sandal heel would look good with my outfit ? What color should the shoes be to match my outfit ? Could anyone please help me out ?

I suggest a close toed pump instead of the sandal because it is a little more sophisticated for the speech and sandals sometimes make a pencil skirt look too casual in a weird way.

Black might be too dark if your pink top is a light shade. If you can find them, silver always looks incredible with a cream skirt, check out Michelle Obama (she has a pink top on under the cardigan):

   OMG, you’re giving a speech and your question in the Education section is WHAT TO WEAR ON YOUR FEET???
   If your speech is good, no one will CARE or even NOTICE what’s on your feet!!!
   Just wear something that goes with your clothes, doesn’t stand out, and is comfortable enough so you’re not fidgeting and shifting your weight as you speak, since that would distract your listeners from your message.

   go with the sandal, they should be the same color as your top. Don’t forget Nude stockings, if you do a pump.
