When you go to a bar and buy a beer for $5 dollars you think to yourself you could go get a whole six pack for this price, but the bar owner is adding in his cost (electricity, building cost, his worker, etc.) There is one way to cut medical spending by 1/3, but the Lawyers will never let it happen. ELIMINATE LAWSUITS, malpractice cuts into about 1/2 of a physicians operating cost. So when you go to see the doctor 1/2 of your bill is his malpractice. When someone sues a doctor ( win or lose) the doctor must increase his cost to make up for the lawsuit. So your cost to see the doctor goes up.
