Is Christoph Waltz a shoe in for winning the Oscar for Best supporting actor in Inglourious Basterds?

I have been watching movies for many years. I love movies. I’m a movie buff. I have to say that Colonel Hans Landa played by Christoph Waltz has to be the best I have ever seen in my life.

I agree he was very good, but it is a bit early to say he will be a shoo in. Who knows what else will be coming.

I agree he was very good, but it is a bit early to say he will be a shoo in. Who knows what else will be coming.

Yes. Absolutely a lock.

He turned in one of the most nuanced performances in years. Menacing, erudite, vain and weak all at once.
