The composer for Grinch was James Horner, and he composed some great songs for this score. I THINK the one you're looking for is called "A Change of the Heart," which happens toward the end of the movie and has a beautifully haunting melody since this is the part of the movie where the Grinch decideds that he likes Christmas aferall. If it ends up not being that one, try "The Shape Of Things To Come," "Memories of a Green Childhood," "The Big Heist" or "The Sleigh of Presents" which are the only other songs on the score that doesn't have some type of talking.
